The glaucoma (popularly called as thiên đầu thống) is a term used to refer to a pathological group of optic nerve heads, chronic progression, characterized by visual damage, atrophic disc atrophy and related to high eye pressure.
At the hall of Hanoi Eye Hospital 2 today, the continuous glocom training workshop took place.
With detailed information about glaucoma from three experts from the Save Sight Institute, of the Medical School at the University of Sydney, Australia and Assoc.Prof.PhD. Pham Trong Van, ophthalmologists as well as students from Hanoi Medical University attended the workshop to update new knowledge about this pathology as well as treatments.
With the appreciation from ophthalmologists, Hanoi Eye Hospital 2 hopes to cooperate and organize more such workshops in the future.
